Karina is able to create portraits from a picture or a series of pictures. Most likely she will pick the clearest picture with the best quality you are able to provide. If possible Karina will take pictures of the portrait model herself. She will look for ways to include your wishes on composition. You can choose any format and frame. Pricing of the portrait is based on a certain set of variables. Karina will give you an estimate of commission costs and time. She will request 50% of that amount in advance and both you and Karina will sign a commission agreement. Once you completed the first payment she will order the materials. She will send you a picture of the composition on canvas. When you agree with the composition she will start painting. Karina loves to include you in the process and will send you two or three work- in -process pictures. Before she finish the painting with a varnish Karina will give you an opportunity to see the portrait in person. Then, when satisfied she will varnish and if called for- frame the painting. She will request you to fulfill the rest of the payment before she'll release the portrait to you.

Next to buying an existing painting through the webshop there is the option to have one totally customized. In a style Karina already offers or a style you have seen elsewhere. Then, when satisfied she will request you to fulfill the rest of the payment before she'll release the painting to you.

When you like to commission a mural, it is good to know the characteristics of the chosen wall. Not all walls are fit for a mural in Acrylics. You can bring in your own inspiration or could side-commission Karina for an unique design. She will offer a digital design drawn over a picture of the wall. She will request the full amount in advance and both you and Karina will sign a commission agreement. Once you completed the payment Karina will order the materials and come over to paint the mural on set dates. She will take the required precautions to make sure the surroundings stay stainless during the completion of the mural.

There are a lot of factors to consider during the startup of a project. It is not an requirement to approach Karina with a solid plan in place. A brainstorm session with an artist to create a well thought through plan might be very helpful to bring your ideas into a successful project.  As soon as Karina has a clear idea of the scope of your project and what is expected of her, she can give you an estimate of time and commission costs. She will request the full amount in advance when the project is on location or 50% if Karina can realize the project in her studio. When the size of the project due to circumstances outside of Karina's control increases, she will mention this to you and bring the additional costs in charge.
