She has studied multiple styles in her studio to learn from movements and vibes. Her painting styles differ from her figurative, photo like portraits and so it has its own category here.

Urban Sketch

Living in the Netherlands, there are many characteristic buildings that inspire Karina daily. The Urban Sketching style truly lends itself perfectly for capturing it. Simple, loose lines gives an ‘in the moment’ feeling and the flexible use of paints gives it an unique character. Do you the want to have an eye catching painting? Impressionistically colorful

Pasty paint that is so lush and thick that it cracks. Karina loves to build up colorful paintings that from a distance are recognizable as fully flowering gardens. Up close your eyes can go crazy on the structures and how shadow casts off of these highly textured paintings.
